Job Title : Database Developer

Experience : 5 Years

Location : Bangalore

Notice period : Immediate - 15 Days

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust database solutions using Oracle and MS-SQL.

- Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to implement business logic.

- Perform database modeling and design using tools like Toad Data Modeler or ER/Studio.

- Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.

- Handle various data types, including BLOBs, CLOBs, and XML.

- Develop and manage ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Proficient in Oracle and MS-SQL databases.

- Strong experience with PL/SQL programming.

- Hands-on experience in database design and modeling.

- Familiarity with data types like BLOBs, CLOBs, and XML.

- Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.

- Understanding of ETL concepts and tools.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with data warehousing solutions.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop.

- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., BI tools).

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.

- Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

- Familiarity with version control systems like SVN, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

- Experience with build automation tools like Jenkins or UC4.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
