Position Overview :

As a Salesforce Architect you will be responsible for the design and health of our Salesforce platform including Salesforce solutions and managed packages from third parties. You will be the central point to ensure we have strong standards for the development of the system, design of complex solutions and ensuring the development and administration team adhere to those items.

Responsibilities :

- Designing and ensuring the team follows best practices and policies for designing and implementing solutions in the platform.

- Reviewing business requirements and translating them into well-architected solutions that adhere to best practices within the Salesforce platform.

- Overseeing sandbox environment management

- Developing technical design documentation, stories and diagrams to guide implementation by the development team

- Proactive system maintenance including security reviews, health checks, and review of recommendations from optimizer

- Work with a product owner to size and prioritize work for the team to implement new functionality

- Working with business stakeholders to finalize trade-offs for solutions to meet the cost, feasibility and usability goals of the business and the platform

- Oversee the development teams creation of new functionality and govern the testing and code review of development

- Find ways to improve adoption of the platform by refining the user experience to the business process flow

- Mange data quality in the system and look for ways to improve and automate data health

- Work with other teams to design API interfaces to integrate system process and data

- Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to technical team members and stakeholders

- Oversee creation of user documentation and release notes

- Provide assistance in troubleshooting complex issues on the platform or with integrations

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or Architect

- Salesforce Technical Architect Certification Preferred

- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification required

- Experience with managing a Salesforce managed packages

- Experience working with non technical users to understand business requirements and design technical solutions

- Extensive experience with scalable and distributed system design, API integration, and data modeling.

- Experience with Apex development

- Experience working in a Scrum or Kanban agile environment

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to find solutions to complex business problems

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proven experience with Salesforce implementation, customization, and integration with third-party systems.

- Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, including governance, security, and data management.

- Experience with VScode, SalesforceCLI and Git for code and release management
