Job Description :
Key Responsibilities :
Infrastructure Design & Automation :- Architect, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support microservices-based applications.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable, automated deployments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
Containerization & Orchestration :- Drive containerization strategy with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and enforce security policies, resource limits, and best practices across clusters.
- Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for Kubernetes workloads.
Cloud & Scalability :- Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Implement auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
Collaboration & Leadership :- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and operational playbooks.
Reliability & Security :- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of production systems.
- Implement robust security controls across infrastructure and deployments.
- Conduct root cause analysis and post-mortems for incidents.
Expert-level knowledge of :- Kubernetes architecture and administration.
- Docker and containerization best practices.
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
- Strong experience deploying and managing workloads in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud-native environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proven experience leading teams or mentoring engineers.
Preferred Qualifications :- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certification.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices.
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies
