MonoSpear Technologies - AWS DevOps Architect - CI/CD Pipeline

Position : AWS DevOps Architect (Night Shift Remote, Contract, Full Time)

Location : Remote (with 12 onsite visits per month)

Shift : 10 : 00 PM 7 : 00 AM IST

Employment Type : Full-Time, Contract

Minimum Requirements :

- 6+ years of hands-on AWS DevOps experience

- Proven AWS Architect-level expertise

- Strong communication skills verbal and written

- Willingness to work night shift (10 PM to 7 AM IST) and occasionally onsite (12 times per month)

- Demonstrated experience as a Team Lead, working directly with clients

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like VSTS, Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity

- Build scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation or Terraform

- Architect and manage AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, etc.) ensuring High Availability (HA) and disaster recovery

- Automate deployments for faster, more reliable releases across AWS environments

- Collaborate with developers and operations for seamless DevOps integration

- Oversee AWS databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora) with a focus on security and availability

- Apply strong security practices using AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, IAM roles, and encryption standards

- Design networking solutions within AWS : VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Route53, Load Balancers

- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reusable to meet enterprise standards

- Utilize Agile/Scrum practices for project delivery and task management

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members

- Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation

Required Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience with core AWS services

- Expertise in CI/CD automation using VSTS, Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity

- Solid experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell

- Proven ability to design high-availability AWS solutions

- Hands-on experience with AWS database offerings

- Deep understanding of AWS networking and security best practices

- Experience building scalable automation for high-volume enterprise environments

- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

- AWS Associate-level certification is required

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Prior experience as a Team Lead managing cross-functional teams and client communication

- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification is a strong plus
