About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced InterSystems HealthConnect / Ensemble Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthConnect or Ensemble, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions in the healthcare domain. This role is remote and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using InterSystems HealthConnect or Ensemble.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for integration solutions.

- Build interfaces between disparate healthcare systems, ensuring the seamless exchange of data across systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues in a timely manner.

- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.

- Ensure adherence to healthcare standards (e.g, HL7, CDA, FHIR) in the development and maintenance of integration solutions.

- Monitor and optimize performance of deployed integrations.

- Provide documentation for the design, testing, and deployment of integration solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and guidance.

- Contribute to project planning and status reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3-8 years of hands-on experience with InterSystems HealthConnect or Ensemble.

- Strong understanding of healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA, IHE, etc.)

- Experience with HL7 message transformation, routing, and validation.

- Proficient in developing and deploying integration solutions in InterSystems HealthConnect/Ensemble.

- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, and healthcare data structures.

- Familiarity with web services and APIs (REST, SOAP).

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with InterSystems IRIS.

- Knowledge of FHIR APIs and integration with electronic health records (EHR).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment (AWS, Azure).

- Previous experience in healthcare IT or working with healthcare-related systems.

Education and Certification Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or related field.

- Relevant certifications in InterSystems HealthConnect/Ensemble or healthcare integration technologies (preferable but not mandatory)
