Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EPM Hyperion Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Suite, particularly version 11.x, and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting financial planning and reporting solutions.

The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Planning, and Essbase solutions based on business needs.

- Build and maintain forms, reports, input schedules, calculation scripts, and business rules using Hyperion Planning and Essbase.

- Develop and optimize Hyperion Financial Reports (FR) and SmartView templates for financial reporting and analysis.

- Collaborate with finance and business teams to understand reporting and budgeting requirements.

- Translate functional requirements into technical design specifications and solution architecture.

- Assess technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies during design and implementation phases.

- Participate in the full lifecycle of EPM projects, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Support existing Oracle EPM applications, including issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.

- Manage metadata updates, hierarchies, and security configurations.

- Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, user guides, and support materials.

- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for internal teams and end-users.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle EPM Suite 11.x, including Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, and Financial Reporting.

- Strong experience with :

1. Form and Report Development

2. Business Rule Creation

3. Calc Scripts

4. Data Loads and Metadata Management

5. SmartView

- Solid understanding of financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolving technical issues.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
