About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join our team.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our SAP landscape, ensuring its stability, performance, and security.

You will play a critical role in supporting our business operations by providing reliable and efficient SAP system administration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.)

- Perform system copies, upgrades, and migrations.

- Manage user accounts, authorizations, and security profiles.

- Monitor system performance and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Perform system health checks and proactive maintenance.

- Manage and configure SAP transports.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues.

- Perform basic database administration tasks (e.g., backups, restores, monitoring).

- Collaborate with database administrators on complex database issues.

Operating System Administration (if applicable) :

- Administer the underlying operating systems (Linux, Windows) on which SAP systems run.

- Manage file systems, user accounts, and permissions.

- Perform system backups and recovery.

- Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., developers, network administrators) to ensure smooth operation of SAP systems.

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 6+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture and components.

- Experience with SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
