Network Engineer - Unified Communications

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Network Engineer to join our Network Management Services team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with complex network architectures, monitoring tools, and vendor coordination. This role is critical in overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the network infrastructure between our service provider and client environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide 24x7 monitoring, issue resolution, and optimization of LAN, WAN, and Unified Communication systems.

- Act as the single point of contact for Network Center of Excellence management and administration.

- Collaborate with clients and third-party vendors to ensure performance benchmarks are met and exceeded.

- Lead incident and service request resolution efforts in coordination with internal and external teams.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective problem management solutions.

- Maintain and support networking equipment across client locations and data centers.

- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network bandwidth, traffic flow, and device performance.

- Provide expert-level hands-on support for infrastructure issues within client facilities.

- Maintain documentation such as Known Error Databases and technical standards.

- Ensure compliance with client policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Technologies :

- Strong experience in network monitoring tools including SolarWinds.

- Expertise in Aryaka SDWAN / ISP Circuit Management.

- Deep knowledge of networking hardware : Routers, Switches, Firewalls (Palo Alto Networks PA Series, Panorama).

- Experience with Load Balancers (F5 BIG-IP) and Wireless Access Points (Aruba Instant).

- Familiarity with FortiNAC Network Access, VPN solutions, and Bandwidth Management.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network architectures.

- Strong understanding of advanced network protocols and security configurations.

- Hands-on experience with advanced monitoring and analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications such as Cisco (CCNP/CCIE), Palo Alto, F5, or Aruba.

- Experience in vendor management and coordination with hardware/software suppliers and ISPs.

- Understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

- Willingness to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
