Next.js Developer - Javascript

Job Title : Next.js Developer (3+ years)

Job Summary :

As a Next.js Developer, you will play a key role in building responsive and high-performance web applications. You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver dynamic, user-friendly interfaces. This position requires a proactive problem-solver who can write clean, efficient code and contribute to shaping the frontend architecture strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, React.js, and modern frontend technologies.

- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive, and interactive code.

- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for improvements in frontend development processes.

Skills :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development with React.js and Next.js.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ features.

- Solid understanding of Redux, React Hooks, and component lifecycle.

- Experience with responsive design using HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).

- Familiarity with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.

- Proficiency with Git version control.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques including lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.

Requirements :

Mandatory :

- Experience in building end-to-end solutions, not just as part of a large team.

- Strong desire to grow deeper in the same role over the next 5 years.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ features.

- Solid grasp of Redux, React Hooks, and component lifecycle.

- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).

- Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Essential :

- Proficient with Git version control.

- Understanding of key performance optimization strategies.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of mobile-first and PWA development.

- Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma or Sketch.

- Exposure to e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or Magento.

- Basic understanding of backend technologies and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).

Qualifications & Experience :

Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering, BCA, or MCA.

Experience : 3+ years.
