Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation/Manual Testing

Requirements :

- Strong Quality Assurance Background, with knowledge of QA techniques and tools.

- Demonstrated experience in implementing and executing manual and automated test scrips

- Experience working in an Agile scrum environment

- Should be familiar with at least 1 test & defect management tool. JIRA is a plus.

- Should have a background in Web Application testing

- Should have hands-on experience on any test automation tool like Selenium with Java.

- Knowledge on Playwright automation with TypeScript/JavaScript is a plus.

- Knowledge in CRM Salesforce is a plus.

- Should have knowledge on DBMS

- Must have working knowledge on IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Code Studio etc.

- Working knowledge in API testing with tools such as Postman, SOAP -is a plus.

- Good understanding on JSON, XML, REST and other similar web services/protocols

- Should have extensive knowledge on version control system like Git/GitHub

- Should possess strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to organize & manage time efficiently

- Having good analytical skills.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Business Analyst and Developers to understand story requirements

- Create detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases from requirement specification and design documents.

- Identify, report & thoroughly track bugs until their closure by working closely with the development team

- Design and maintain automation framework for automation purpose

- Automate and maintain functional and regression test cases for every release

- Work with the developers to identify key areas of risk and run tests in production environments after deployment to ensure quality

- Participate in various scrum ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective etc.

- Sprint demo to internal team

- Able to transfer QA knowledge amongst peers and review and contribute to product /process documentation
