Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing efforts based on product requirements and specifications.

- Perform thorough manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Develop and execute automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks to ensure efficient and repeatable testing.

- Conduct thorough testing of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to ensure their functionality, reliability, performance, and security.

- Perform database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.

- Identify, document, and track software defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce using a bug tracking system.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure timely resolution of defects.

- Participate in the quality assurance process, contributing to the development and improvement of testing strategies and methodologies.

- Apply knowledge of quality management principles and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) where relevant to ensure product quality and compliance.

- Participate in quality auditing activities to assess adherence to established processes and standards.

- Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide comprehensive test reports to stakeholders.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the test automation framework.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior QA team members as needed.

Qualifications :

- Proven skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices.

- 2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a demonstrable focus on both manual and automation testing.

- Hands-on experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Experience in Database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data.

- Understanding of Quality Management principles and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) concepts (where applicable to the domain).

- Experience participating in Quality Auditing processes.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and identify root causes.

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

- Hands-on experience with at least one test automation tool or framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them.

- Experience with test management tools (Jira with Xray/Zephyr, TestRail).

- Knowledge of scripting languages beyond automation tools (Python, JavaScript).
