Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect - Application Migration & Modernization to lead the transformation of legacy applications into modern, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud technologies, modernization strategies, and leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead Migration & Modernization Efforts :

- Architect and drive end-to-end migration strategies across public, private, and hybrid clouds.

- Design solutions using microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architecture.

- Define rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and rebuilding strategies.

Collaborate with Stakeholders :

- Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements.

- Serve as a trusted advisor for application transformation initiatives.

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor teams of architects and developers in delivering cloud-native solutions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and quality.

Roadmap Development :

- Assess existing application portfolios and define modernization roadmaps.

- Evaluate migration tools and select appropriate platforms and technologies.

Cloud Architecture & Optimization :

- Design secure, high-performance cloud environments.

- Optimize for cost, scalability, and resilience.

Security & Compliance :

- Integrate robust security controls.

- Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

Project Oversight :

- Manage execution from design to deployment, ensuring timelines and quality.

- Handle technical escalations and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills :

- 7-10 years of experience in Application Migration & Modernization.

- Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

- Strong understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, serverless, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).

- Experience with migration tools like AWS Migration Hub, Azure Migrate, etc.

- Knowledge of full-stack technologies : frontend, backend, databases, middleware.

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional

- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
