Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and fostering a strong DevOps culture. You'll leverage your deep expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration, and automation tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery and operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on scalability, reliability, cost-efficiency, and security.

- Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

- Develop and maintain scripts for automation, system administration, and monitoring using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Establish and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and performance.

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to promote a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements throughout the infrastructure and deployment processes.

- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills :

- 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role.

- Strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure

DevOps, GitHub Actions).

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).

- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef).

- Knowledge of database administration (SQL and NoSQL).

- Familiarity with microservices architecture.

- Experience with site reliability engineering (SRE) principles.

- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
