Senior Quality Analyst - Automation Testing

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright.

- Write automated tests proficiently in TypeScript or JavaScript.

- Work effectively within a Node.js environment, utilizing npm for package management.

- Perform comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman.

- Execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, k6, or similar, and analyze results.

- Utilize test and defect management tools like Jira for tracking test cases, execution progress, and bugs.

- Collaborate closely with development teams and other QA engineers.

- Troubleshoot and debug automated tests and application issues.

- Contribute to test planning, strategy, and continuous improvement of the automation process.

- Ensure the quality and reliability of software releases through effective automation.

Required Experience & Skills :

- 7 to 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.

Mandatory :

- Hands-on experience in writing automated tests using Playwright.

- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred for Playwright scripting.

- Working knowledge of the Node.js environment and npm.

- Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, etc.).

- Familiarity with test and defect management tools like Jira.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Skills (Plus Points):

- Exposure to other test automation tools like Selenium and Cypress.

- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Git for version control.
