SFCC Backend Developer - SFRA Implementation

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced SFCC Backend Developer with 6+ years of specialized experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of SFCC Script, extensive experience with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture), and in-depth knowledge of implementing complex checkout processes. You will be instrumental in designing and developing robust third-party (backend) integrations for critical e-commerce functionalities. This role requires readiness to work on US overlapping hours (until 12 AM IST).

Key Responsibilities

- SFCC Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend functionalities within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform using SFCC Script.

- SFRA Implementation: Leverage solid experience in SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) to build scalable and performant e-commerce solutions.

- Checkout Process Expertise: Lead the implementation and optimization of complex checkout processes, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

- Controller & Pipeline Management: Utilize in-depth knowledge of both Controllers and Pipelines within SFCC to build and manage site functionalities.

- Third-Party Integrations: Perform end-to-end design and development of critical third-party (backend) integrations, including but not limited to:

a. Address/Shipping/Tax validation services

b. Payment authorization gateways

c. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems

d. OMS (Order Management Systems)

- Functional Understanding: Possess strong functional knowledge of B2C (Business-to-Consumer) e-commerce processes to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Performance & Optimization: Ensure the developed solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.

- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated e-commerce solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of dedicated development experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

- SFCC Core: Strong hands-on experience with SFCC Script.

- SFRA: Solid and proven experience in implementing solutions using SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).

- E-commerce Process Knowledge: Very good knowledge and hands-on experience in the implementation of Checkout processes.

- Architecture Understanding: In-depth knowledge of Controllers and Pipelines within SFCC.

- Functional Acumen: Strong functional knowledge of B2C processes.

- Integration Expertise: Proven experience in performing design and development of third-party (backend) integrations for systems like:

a. Address/Shipping/Tax validation

b. Payment authorization

c. CRM

d. OMS

- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Shift Flexibility: Readiness to work in a second shift covering US overlapping hours (till 12 AM IST).
