Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, build, test, and deploy email campaigns, landing pages, and forms using Email Studio and Content Builder.
- Write and troubleshoot Ampscript and potentially Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) for dynamic content and advanced personalization within emails and Cloud Pages.
- Configure and manage automated marketing journeys using Journey Builder, including setting up entry sources, activities, and decision splits.
- Utilize Automation Studio for complex data extractions, file imports/exports, segmentation, and triggering sends.
- Perform data management tasks within Contact Builder and Audience Builder, including creating and managing Data Extensions, relationships, and attribute groups.
- Write SQL queries to segment audiences, extract data, and manipulate data within SFMC.
- Implement and maintain segmentation strategies based on various data criteria.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and renderability across different email clients and devices.
- Set up A/B testing and other testing methodologies to optimize campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot delivery issues, and provide insights on results.
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SFMC.
- Work with data teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and flow into and out of SFMC.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and business unit configurations within SFMC.
- Stay updated on SFMC new features, releases, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Proven hands-on experience working with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder/Audience Builder.
- Experience with HTML and CSS for building responsive email templates.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Ampscript for personalization and dynamic content.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data segmentation and manipulation within SFMC.
- Understanding of data modeling principles within SFMC (Data Extensions, Send Relationships).
- Experience with campaign execution, audience segmentation, and automation building.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to email rendering, delivery, data, and automation errors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills (Plus Points) :
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Developer Certification.
- Experience with Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
- Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other external systems (e.g., using Marketing Cloud Connect, APIs).
- Familiarity with other SFMC modules (e.g., Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Interaction Studio, Datorama).
- Experience with data governance and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) within SFMC.
- Experience with FTP/SFTP processes for data transfer.
