Software Engineer III - Java/AWS

Job Title : Software Engineer III Java + AWS (US Support)

Location : Chennai

Shift Timings : 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (US Support Shift)

Experience : 9 to 15 Years

Notice Period : Immediate Joiners / Max 15 Days

Cab Facility : One-way cab service provided for the 2:00 PM 11:00 PM shift

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze, design, develop, and implement enterprise-level software applications.

- Develop RESTful web services and microservices using Java Spring Boot.

- Work on both frontend (ReactJS) and backend development as a full-stack developer.

- Set up and manage AWS infrastructure including monitoring, alerting, and logging.

- Act as a junior-level AWS Architect in application and infrastructure-related projects.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools.

- Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide support, and resolve issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to integrate and support systems.

- Adhere to Agile methodologies including SCRUM and TDD (Test-Driven Development).

- Proactively analyze user feedback and issues to determine necessary system changes.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring when required.

- Escalate complex issues and provide solutions based on in-depth analysis.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, and ReactJS.

- 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).

- Experience in DevOps practices CI/CD, GitLab pipelines.

- Good understanding of software design principles and system architecture.

- Exposure to Azure and SAP BTP is an added advantage.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Certifications :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- AWS certification is preferred (Associate or Professional level).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in client-facing roles supporting international clients.

- Ability to independently manage tasks and collaborate across teams.

- Flexible to work in evening shift supporting US clients.
