Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Splunk Application Development & Design : Design, develop, and implement robust Splunk applications.

- Splunk Architecture & Configuration : Apply strong knowledge of Splunk's basic architecture for effective solution design and implementation.

- Knowledge Object Management : Develop and manage Splunk Knowledge Objects to extract meaningful insights from data.

- Search & Reporting : Utilize Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and Simple XML to create complex searches, reports, and dashboards.

- Data Model & Dataset Design : Design and effectively utilize Splunk Data Models and Datasets for efficient data analysis.

- KV Store Management : Oversee the usage and maintenance of Splunk KV Stores.

- Scripting & Automation : Apply Intermediate Python scripting knowledge for various Splunk-related tasks and automations.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Potentially develop Splunk Alert Actions to proactively identify and respond to issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Splunk Development and/or Administration.

- 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in Splunk development and administration.

- Proficiency in using Jenkins for CI/CD and automation.

- Proficiency in using Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.

- Strong knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).

- Experience with Splunk data ingestion and indexing.

- Experience with Splunk dashboard creation and alert configuration.

Preferred Technical Skills :

- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).

- Experience with Linux/Unix systems.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Splunk certifications (Splunk Core Certified User, Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin).

- Experience with regular expressions.

- Experience with API integration.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of experience as a Splunk Developer or related role.
