About the job :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer with minimum 4 year's experience and has a strong background in backend development, cloud integration, and infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python (Advanced), Flask, WAMP stack, Oracle DB, and scripting, along with working knowledge of cloud platforms, IAM, and microservices architecture.

Experience in the insurance domain is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Flask

- Build and maintain APIs and services following microservices architecture

- Work with WAMP stack (Windows, Apache, MySQL, Python/PHP) for full-stack development

- Develop and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries for Oracle databases

- Implement and manage Windows Services and use Task Scheduler for automation

- Write and maintain batch and shell scripts for routine operations and deployments

- Monitor and support applications running on Linux and Windows environments

- Utilize Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis and prototyping

- Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud teams to integrate with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Apply Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices to ensure secure access

- Support and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring high availability and performance

- Document development processes, system configurations, and best practices

- Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams within the insurance domain

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in backend development using Python (Advanced)

- Proficient with Flask, SQL/PLSQL, and Oracle DB

- Experience with WAMP stack and integration of web applications

- Good knowledge of Windows administration and basic Linux administration

- Proficient in writing and troubleshooting batch/shell scripts

- Experience working with Jupiter Notebooks

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Understanding of IAM concepts and implementations

- Hands-on experience with Windows Services and Task Scheduler

- Working knowledge of microservices architecture

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

- Experience in the Insurance domain is a strong advantage

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or Oracle

- Prior experience in agile/scrum environments

- Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines
