Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our on-site team in Bangalore for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development and will be responsible for migrating websites from Wix to WordPress and maintaining existing WordPress platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Migrate existing website content and functionality from Wix to WordPress.

- Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

- Ensure website performance, speed, and security are optimized.

- Regularly maintain and update the WordPress website.

- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.

- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers for ongoing improvements.

Requirements :

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.

- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.

- Strong experience in WordPress theme customization and plugin development.

- Experience with website migration, especially from Wix to WordPress.

- Good understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization.

- Ability to work independently in an on-site environment.

- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.

- This is a contractual position for 6 months, with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
